The Alfa Romeo 916 GTV and Spider

Designed by Enrico Fumia of Pininfarina, these two sports cars were known by Alfa Romeo's internal designation 916.

The GTV is a 2+2 coupé, and the Spider is a two-seater roadster version of the GTV.

Around 39,000 Spider and 41,700 GTVs were built from 1993 to 2004.

Giallo Zoe - Zoe Yellow (AR513)

Zoe Yellow came in with the launch of the Phase 2 Spider in 1998 and was listed just for the Spider (although a couple of GTV versions do exist).  The Phase 1 Spider had been available in Verde Acido (Acid Green) but only as a Twin Spark 2.0. This colour was even more of a "Marmite" colour than Zoe Yellow!
The Alfa designers obviously took the view that some Spider buyers did not want dull or boring colours.

Although I am, of course, biased, I feel that Zoe suits the lines of the car very well and is the most striking colour for the car.
